Leave from the Flanagan Park Playground parking at 41.320378, -96.187137 in Northwest Omaha. (On the south side of 174th & Ida) This is our first deviation from the traditionally South Omaha start and is a no drop ride on paved trail and friendly neighborhoods. The pace is 10-15 mph. We will loop around the north end of Flanagan Lake first and then head south down the north end of the West Papio trail toward Scooters on Maple St. For those who wish to just ride an out and back ride the return trip to Flanagan Lake will be about 12 mi. total ride but the route will take those looking for a longer ride and more adventure down through the Huntington Park Trail which offers many options for some ad hoc return trips.
