As club members, we believe it is our responsibility to promote cycling to the best of our ability in the hopes of showing others the way to a healthier and happier lifestyle. Club members are encouraged to check the ride calendar often to see what rides they might be interested in doing to help promote the club and enjoy cycling with members and others.

The club has elected officers that serve according to an established constitution and bylaws that have been voted on by club members. Besides President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, there are other positions such as Ride Director and Social Chairperson that serve voluntarily to promote the goals of the club. Thanks to these persons, the club has a wide variety of rides for riders of all size, shape, and speed as well as a number of social functions that don’t always necessarily involve bicycle riding of any kind.

Personal check or money orders are accepted. Additionally, you can use PayPal by sending funds to bbcfunds@bellbikeclub.org  To avoid PayPal fees, you should send money as a Personal Payment Owed directly from your PayPal account:

Please download, print and complete a membership application form and mail to the club's address listed at the top of the page or bring to the next meeting.  You should expect to receive an invitation to join the BBC Yahoo group from the Membership Director at the email address you list above.  Please allow several days for your membership application to be processed by our Club Treasurer and Membership Director, both of whom are volunteers.  If you have any questions, please use the Contact Form located on the Contact Us/Cycling Links page of this website. 

PayPal does not charge the club to receive money in the U.S. when you send the money from the PayPal website using your PayPal balance or your bank account. Even if you don't yet have a PayPal account and want to use a debit or credit card, this is possible by creating a PayPal account.

However, if you a make payment from the PayPal website using a debit card or credit card, you will be responsible for the PayPal fee so do not pass it on to the club (you will have the option to pay yourself or pass it on).

Most importantly, be sure to select the Personal tab (default is Purchase tab) and Payment Owed before proceeding with sending the payment.

Remember, it is your responsibility as the sender to properly specify that you will pay the PayPal fee - please do not expect the BBC to cover this expense for you.
