Since our inception in 2003, the BBC has grown tremendously. Unlike other bicycle clubs which strive to have as many members as possible, the BBC is based on the quality of its members, instead of the quantity. While we are open to everyone, we have instituted a new membership levels that enables the more active members to benefit more than members who simply join to enjoy a club discount.

We are a bicycle club that believes in contributing to the cycling community. As club members, we believe it is our responsibility to promote cycling to the best of our ability in the hopes of showing others the way to a healthier and happier lifestyle.

We are in the process of building a membership database that each sponsor will have access to via the Internet. As you participate in sponsor events such as bike rodeo’s, charity ride SAG support, ride planning, club assistance, course setup and assistance with other events that contribute to our sponsors and also to the cycling community, you will receive credit. Each sponsor will log into the database and enter the amount of hours that each member contributed.

As you accrue hours/credit, that database will automatically calculate your standings. Each member will be able to log into the database to see where their membership levels stand. The database will show how many points are necessary to move to the next level of membership.

When you visit a sponsor store to purchase equipment, except for restaurants, the sponsor will be able to look at the database to determine the level of discount you are entitled to. The higher level of membership that you have attained the larger the discount and benefits will be.

The goal of this program is to encourage members to contribute in a manner which is beneficial to the club and to the cycling community. Please check the Club Ride Calendars often to see if there are any events coming up that you would like to assist with. It is the members’ responsibility to ensure that each sponsor credits them for the amount of hours that they contribute to an event.

Membership Fees

$25 Yearly for single membership
$35 Yearly for family membership

Membership is valid from January 1st - December 31st.

Membership Levels

There are 3 Levels of Membership

  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold

Each level grants various entitlements to the club member. The more a member contributes in helping spread the “cycling gospel” to the community, the more benefits and perks they will be entitled to.

Club members who pay the basic fee will automatically be placed in the Bronze category. As a member contributes either directly or indirectly to the club, they will accrue credit towards the next level of membership. The more that is contributed, the greater the member benefit will be.
